Author reviewing a printed proof copy

Self publishing isn't the cheap option. It's the one you control

The trade off is real. You pay for production up front instead of giving up rights and royalties. In exchange you set the price, you own the files, you keep every format, and nobody can take the book out of print because it stopped hitting a number. That's a good deal if the production is done properly. It's a bad deal if it isn't, which is the whole reason this page exists.

In addition to our publishing expertise, we also understand the importance of post-publication support. We offer a range of services including book signings, author interviews, and social media promotion to ensure your book continues to gain traction long after it hits the shelves. Our commitment to your success extends beyond the printed page, as we strive to create a lasting legacy for your work in the literary world. Let’s make your book a bestseller together!

What self publishing actually puts on your plate

Most authors know they want to self publish. Fewer know what they've just signed up for. Here's the honest shape of it.

You finish the manuscript twice

There's the draft you finish. Then there's the draft a reader should meet. In between sit three different jobs that catch three different problems. Going straight to a proofread is the most common mistake in indie publishing, and the most expensive. A proofreader isn't looking for the stuff that makes people put a book down.

Print and ebook are two different products

A print interior is locked to a trim size, with margins, gutter and a spine width that depends on your page count. An ebook reflows. The reader picks the type size, so your layout has to survive being rearranged. One file can't do both jobs. A print PDF uploaded as an ebook is the fastest route to a one star review about formatting.

Metadata is what decides if anyone finds it

Title, subtitle, series field, categories, keywords, description. That's what retail search actually reads. Two books of the same quality with different metadata don't sell the same. Categories matter most. You pick them once, they're awkward to change, and they decide which bestseller lists you're even allowed to appear on.

Distribution is a set of choices, not a switch

KDP gets you Amazon. IngramSpark gets you the wholesale channel bookshops and libraries order through. Going exclusive buys you promo tools and costs you every other retailer. Reach, bookstore availability, highest royalty per copy. Pick two, because you can't have all three.

The decisions we walk you through

None of this is trivia. Each one shuts a door if you get it wrong, and each one is cheaper to settle now than later.

Trim size
The usual US trade sizes are 5x8, 5.25x8, 5.5x8.5 and 6x9 inches. 6x9 is the default for nonfiction and most fiction. Smaller trims suit memoir and poetry. Trim drives page count, and page count drives your unit cost and your spine width.
ISBN
Every format needs its own. Paperback, hardcover and ebook are three numbers. A free retailer ISBN lists that retailer as publisher of record. One you own lists you. That matters the day you want to move the book somewhere else.
Paper and binding
Cream stock for fiction, white for nonfiction and anything with images. Matte and gloss change how a cover photographs and how it wears in a bag. Case laminate and dust jacket are different products at different costs.
Royalty maths
Royalty is list price minus print cost, and print cost comes from page count, trim and colour. Price a book without doing that maths and it either doesn't sell or doesn't earn.
Rights
Self publishing doesn't hand your rights to anyone, and nothing we make for you gets licensed back to us. Territory, translation, audio and film stay yours. All of it.

Where independent books usually come apart

It's almost never the writing. Two things sink more indie books than anything else, and both are fixable before launch.

The ebook was built from the print file

Print is fixed, ebook reflows. Export a print PDF as an ebook and readers get something they can't resize on a phone. They leave a review saying exactly that, and formatting reviews are the hardest kind to recover from because they sit at the top of your page forever.

Nobody picked the categories

Categories and keywords decide which searches and which bestseller lists your book can appear in at all. Most authors accept whatever the upload form suggests and never look again. It costs nothing to choose deliberately and it's awkward to change once you're live.

Why Choose
Publisher In USA?

You've probably heard that publishing services take your money, take your rights and go quiet. The industry earned that reputation. So here's how we work instead.

You keep everything

Your rights, your royalties, your files. Nothing we make gets licensed back to us.

You see it before you pay

Scope in writing first. No work starts on a handshake and a number that moves later.

You can walk away with it

Source files, print ready files, accounts and logins. All handed over, all in your name.

We'll tell you no

If your book doesn't need a service, we'll say so. That's cheaper for you and better for us.
