Author reviewing a printed proof copy

The hard part isn't the writing. It's sounding like you

Plenty of people can write a competent chapter. The job is writing one your readers believe you wrote. That comes from recorded conversations, because how you explain your work out loud is nearly always closer to your real voice than how you type it. We build the voice first and show it to you before anyone drafts a full book.

How ghostwriting actually works

The word covers everything from light structural help to a book written from nothing. Worth knowing the difference before you commission anything.

Full ghostwriting

You bring the material. The expertise, the story, the notes. A writer turns it into the manuscript. It runs off recorded conversations, because how you explain something out loud is usually closer to your real voice than how you write it down. Standard terms: the authorship and the copyright are yours, and the writer isn't credited unless you want them to be.

Collaboration, the 'with' credit

You write, a professional shapes and fills the gaps. Common for memoir and business books where you've got the material and not the structural training. Usually credited as 'with', which readers read as honest rather than hidden.

Book proposals

Nonfiction sells on a proposal, not a finished book. Overview, your platform, comparable titles, chapter outline, a sample chapter or two. Different document, different rules, and it's the thing an agent actually reads.

Getting your voice right

Everything rests on this one. It comes from recorded interviews, anything you've already written, and a short sample chapter you approve before full drafting starts. If the sample doesn't sound like you, that's cheap to fix. If the finished manuscript doesn't, it isn't.

What gets agreed before anyone writes a word

Ghostwriting arguments are nearly always about things nobody wrote down at the start.

Ownership
Copyright and authorship are yours from the first word. Work for hire terms, in writing, before drafting starts.
Confidentiality
Mutual NDA as standard. Your material, your business, and the fact that we're working together at all stays private.
Chapter approval
You sign off chapter by chapter. That way a wrong turn gets caught at chapter three instead of chapter thirty.
Revision rounds
Written into the scope before work starts, including what counts as a revision and what counts as a new brief.
Your source material
Recordings, transcripts and research notes are yours, handed over at the end. You're never stuck needing us to write the next one.

How we keep you in control of a book you didn't type

Ghostwriting goes wrong when the author only sees the manuscript at the end. Two things prevent that.

You approve the voice before the book exists

A short sample chapter comes first. If it doesn't sound like you, that's a cheap problem and we fix it then. If a finished manuscript doesn't sound like you, that's an expensive problem, and it's the most common complaint in ghostwriting.

You sign off chapter by chapter

Drafting moves one chapter at a time with your approval at each step. A wrong turn gets caught at chapter three instead of chapter thirty, which is the difference between a note and a rewrite.

Still sitting on a finished manuscript?

Every month it sits in the drawer is a month nobody reads it. Tell us where the book is at and we'll give you a straight answer on what it needs.

Your name, your copyright, your recordings

Work for hire terms in writing before the first word. Authorship and copyright are yours, the NDA runs both ways, and every interview recording and transcript is handed to you at the end. You're never stuck needing us to write the next one.

Why Choose
Publisher In USA?

You've probably heard that publishing services take your money, take your rights and go quiet. The industry earned that reputation. So here's how we work instead.

You keep everything

Your rights, your royalties, your files. Nothing we make gets licensed back to us.

You see it before you pay

Scope in writing first. No work starts on a handshake and a number that moves later.

You can walk away with it

Source files, print ready files, accounts and logins. All handed over, all in your name.

We'll tell you no

If your book doesn't need a service, we'll say so. That's cheaper for you and better for us.
